Statement:
I have been spurred to start this commentary due
to a recent outcry from beaders. The cry came
from hurt artists and emerging talents who read a
series of writings from a well known bead artist about
her feelings of the bead world and the beaders in it.
I too have read it and found some points interesting,
true even; some funny and also some that made my
head turn in shame.
This commentary was not born upon the fact that I am
righting any wrongs or saying anyone else’s opinion
is not right.
I feel too, that there are things we should ponder;
as people, as artists, as caretakers of our craft.
